So, ever since I am back from London, I have attended 4 birthdays. 2 kids under 13 and 2 adults over 30. And what I saw was a marked difference in the two. The kids had a blast, the adults were occupied in making sure the guests were taken care of, the guests were eating appetisers, the guests were looked after. In short it was all about the guests. The person whose birthday it was, was kinda just there. I didn't see that person abandon all worries and just have a good time. Which eventually bring me to my point. Are we as adults have forgotten how to have fun? Are we so caught up in the social man made etiquettes that we have no idea how to let go? It certainly seems like it.
